What do I do as a Program Assistant?

GOE Website
One of the main responsibilities I have as the Program Assistant is to keep the website current. I often update the homepage, change links, and add new pages.
Having a UX/UI degree, it’s important to me that everyone can find what they need easily. I changed some of the headers on the dropdown menu to make content easier to find.

Social Media
Social Media has become my favorite part of working with Girls of Excellence, Inc. They have Instagram and Facebook and I get full creative control of their socials. I create content like reels, surveys, and videos. I also create specific posts that look like mini flyers for events. Overall, their interactivity and following is constantly growing since I became the “social media girl.”
Graphic Design
Besides the social media graphics, I’ve also created some print work for Girls of Excellence, Inc. They recently launched a monthly newsletter that I had full creative control over designing. I created this newsletter without a template using Adobe Indesign.
I’m excited to keep this going throughout the year!
